Failures reported within 12 months are replaced at no charge (shipping is extra, customer MUST return old parts within 30 days or there is a charge of $250/unit.) Failures reported between 13 and 36 months will be prorated off then current published price. For example, a reported failure during month 18 will cost (18/36) x $350 for a replacement if a front unit (8/2009), a failure reported month 24 will cost (24/36) x $350 for a replacement front unit. Alternatively, customer may return the unit for free recharge, and if not rechargeable, pay 110% of the prorated replacement cost calculated above.
The ONLY WARRANTY is replacement of parts found defective due to manufacturing defects. CONTAMINATION OF AHC FLUID OR USE OF ANY FLUID OTHER THAN GENUINE AHC FLUID (or a fluid listed on B&B's substitutes for AHC oil) VOIDS ALL WARRANTY COVERAGE. CUSTOMERS MUST CONDUCT "WATER REACTION TEST' AS DESCRIBED ON THIS SITE PRIOR TO DRAINING THE SYSTEM OR REPLACING ANY PART AND RESULTS MUST BE ACCEPTED BY B&B AS 'OK OR BETTER' TO OBTAIN WARRANTY COVERAGE. CUSTOMER MUST PROMPTLY RE-PERFORM SAID TEST ON REASONABLE REQUEST BY B&B. CUSTOMER MUST FURNISH TEST RESULTS FROM SAMPLES OBTAINED NOT MORE THAN 1 WEEK AFTER A PART(S) FAIL AND RESULTS FORWARDED WITH REQUEST FOR WARRANTY REPLACEMENT. FAILURE TO FURNISH SUCH 'RECENT SAMPLE' RESULTS COINCIDENT WITH OR IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO REQUEST FOR WARRANTY REPLACEMENTS WILL VOID ALL WARRANTY COVERAGE
